About Us
In an effort to find & promote fun, creative & locally handmade products, Teresa launched weeBgreen. It seemed like good timing to seek out healthier, earth-friendlier materials & products for her child, & share those unique finds with others interested in promoting buying local& handmade. Teresa has always had a desire to help others & make a difference in the world. Her passion is writing; finding ways to help others through written word. Additionally, as a mother to one zainy, wee toddler, she is passionate about family & motherhood. She feels it's important to instill strong, lasting values in children -- a love for nature, treating people as you'd like them to treat you, volunteerism, & determination to follow dreams. Teresa's hope is that the weeBgreen boutique offers people a way to promote buying locally / regionally, a way for people to find wonderfully handmade & unique items you just can't find at the mall. She's a believer in supporting the growth of small business & local craftspeople.
The weeBgreen philosophy
We're not here to preach "going green" or how to live a greener life. To be honest, we believe that "going green" or learning to live a life that is friendlier to our earth is an ongoing, ever-changing process. We are not "greenwashers" either...we are your average, everyday suburban moms working for the greater good. - What we are here for is to do our wee part in caring for the one earth we have & instilling positive values in our wee ones.
